Greetings from The University of Manchester - Middle East Centre.
As a partner to the University, we wanted to make sure DBWC members were aware of the approaching deadline for applications to The Manchester Global Part-time MBA (the standard and accelerated Global MBA options) on Monday, November 23rd.
Successful applicants will receive an offer from the University, which is valid for the following two intakes in 2021 and the next opportunity to join the Global MBA programme is the January 2021 intake. The offer covers the standard 2-year Global MBA and the two accelerated options, as well as the alternative option – which has workshops starting in March 2021 (applications for the alternative format only will remain open into the early new year).
For DBWC members with over 6 months’ membership, the University offers an exclusive 15% discount on the total tuition fees.
Applications to top MBA programmes tend to rise in challenging times and we have seen this during the current pandemic, as working professionals review their career direction and future employability, and the workplace undergoes dramatic transformation. Our aim is to help students develop sustainable and fulfilling careers.
Xavier Duran, Director of MBA Programmes:
“Every applicant has a personal career reason to join. Your career may have reached a plateau or you want to move from a technical to a managerial role and you need some training to get into higher management. Many candidates want to switch sectors or even countries, and then the MBA provides a reflective juncture to consider this, as well as building a professional network for life. For other more experienced students, it’s a great way to formalise years of experience. The blended learning MBA is a very demanding and transformational academic programme supported by networking events, online careers seminars, employability sessions, speaker events, and alumni networking. In these uncertain times, there’s no better time to start an MBA.”
To apply for the Global Part-time MBA, simply follow the link here to set up an account and then complete the 2-step process, which comprises the online application form at http://apply.ambs.manchester.ac.uk and then the Manchester Admissions Test (MAT) - a 45-minute online test with three components (verbal, numerical and logical).
