Currently, women in most countries globally including the GCC are still underrepresented in the most senior leadership roles, eg. on Boards. However, recent studies show that 60% of professional working women aspire to be a senior leader of an organization, and more than half aspire to serve on a board. Astonishingly, the same 60% report that they find it hard to see themselves as a leader. With a new decade full of exciting opportunities, rapid developments in technology, society and business as well as unparalleled uncertainty ahead of us, increasing the diversity in organizations’ most senior leadership positions is an imperative for success.
