Introducing Champions of DBWC Mentor & Mentee Recognition Programme – Cycle 7 

We are delighted to launch the Champions of DBWC Mentor & Mentee Recognition Programme, a new initiative designed to celebrate the outstanding contributions, commitment, and impact of our mentorship community.

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement and recognize excellence, Cycle 7 participants of the DBWC mentorship programme will have the opportunity to earn the title of Champion Mentor or Champion Mentee. This recognition highlights members who actively contribute to the success of the mentorship programme, engage with the DBWC community, and demonstrate meaningful progress and impact throughout their mentorship journey.

Champions of DBWC recognizes both the women who generously share their expertise and the women who actively leverage mentorship to achieve their goals.

Eligibility

This initiative is open exclusively to:

• Mentors and Mentees participating in DBWC Mentorship Programme – Cycle 7
• Members holding a valid DBWC membership
• Participants who meet the minimum criteria outlined below

Champion Mentor Criteria

To qualify, mentors must meet at least three (3) of the following criteria:

• Complete at least 3–6 hours of mentorship engagement. Proof of mentor-mentee meetings , such as email exchanges or other documented communications, must be submitted with the application.
• Mentor at least one DBWC member
• Receive a testimonial from their mentee
• Demonstrate active engagement in the DBWC community through networking sessions, forums, programmes, or events ( * DBWC Management to verify)

Champion Mentee Criteria

To qualify, mentees must meet at least three (3) of the following criteria:

• Achieve at least one objective stated in their mentorship application
• Attend one or more DBWC mentorship or accelerator sessions/events
• Receive a testimonial from their mentor
• Demonstrate active engagement in the DBWC community through networking sessions, forums, programmes, or events ( * DBWC Management to verify)

Recognition & Benefits

Selected Champions will receive:

• A DBWC Champion Digital Certificate
• Recognition on the DBWC website Champions Wall
• One selected Champion Mentor and one Champion Mentee will each receive a complimentary one-year DBWC Membership.

Timeline

• June 8, 2026 - Applications Open 
• August 15,2026 - Applications close (Any additional applications received after this date will not be accepted)
• August 15 - 30: Applications reviewed, Final selection and Champions announcement
