Yasser Ahmed, Vice President of Digital Energy for Gulf, Schneider Electric

Yasser Ahmed is a business leader with over 15 years of experience in The Middle East and Africa region. As Vice President of Digital Energy for Gulf countries at Schneider Electric, he leads a team focused on digitizing and decarbonizing the built environment through innovative solutions.

In his current role, Yasser oversees a division that delivers integrated solutions that help customers across Buildings, Energy & Infrastructure, and Datacenter sectors achieve sustainability, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Previously, Yasser held progressive leadership roles, including VP of Buildings Gulf, Director of Digital Buildings MEA, and Director of IoT & Digital MEA. He also gained valuable experience at Hitachi Energy as Head of Sales Enterprise Software for MEA.

Known for his strategic thinking, innovation, and digital mindset, Yasser brings technical expertise in AI, automation, IoT, software, energy efficiency, and sustainability. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Cairo University, a Professional Marketing diploma from AUC, and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.

Yasser serves as an advisor for the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and is passionate about AI, sustainability, and servant leadership. Based in Dubai, he describes himself as a global citizen living with IMPACT values.
