Dr. Porras is the CEO of Blockchain Smart Technologies (BST), a Dubai-based firm that uses blockchain technology to create solutions to a myriad of organizational challenges. She is also the Lead Researcher of SmartLedger Blockchain Solutions Inc., an industry leader that aims to accelerate the implementation of this technology across sectors. In addition, she is an Honorary Research Collaborator of the Department of Business Economics, Applied Economics, and Fundamentals of Economic Analysis of the Rey Juan Carlos University, in Madrid and an expert, assisting the European Innovation Council (EIC) with the proposals submitted to the H2020 and H2030-EIC-SMEINST calls for the panels of Cultural and Creative Economy, Consumer Products and Services, Health, Public Sector Innovation, Finance, Engineering and Technology, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
