Gemma Nye is the founder of GoFigure Accounting, a boutique financial services partner for SMEs - from startup through the various stages of growth.
She graduated from Liverpool University in the UK with a BA Hons in Accounting, and after a year travelling Australasia and South America, she started her professional career in the Oil & Gas Industry, where she successfully qualified as a Chartered UK ICAEW Accountant.
After 5 years in the UK, she moved to the UAE in 2009 to join an O&G company in the capacity of Finance Controller, before moving into the Events sector in 2014 operating as a Finance Manager. In late 2019, she decided the time was right to branch out and establish a freelance accounting services business and thus GoFigure was born.
