Google is committed to providing tools and support to empower women to succeed in tech and beyond. Our partner, Women@work is proud to collaborate with Google to host their regional networking event for all women in tech across the Middle East and North Africa.

The virtual event aims to bring together women in the tech industry to network, exchange ideas, and hear from experts about trends and opportunities in the tech space.

The event will run over two days (Sep 29- 30) hoping to inspire, educate and connect with various talents in areas like sales, cloud technology, marketing and analytics. We invite all participants with over 5 years of work experience to apply!

Day 1: Networking Event – 29th September, 12:00 – 13:30 UAE Time

Representatives from Google will talk about their journey in the tech world and share some learnings. The session will include:

• A keynote speech about Google’s commitment to supporting women in the workplace
• A panel discussion with Google and women@work:
  • Future-proofing your career
  • Finding Allies, Mentors & Sponsors
  • Getting your voice heard and networking in a virtual world
• A networking session with representatives from Google to answer any questions from attendees who can submit their questions prior to the event.

Day 2: #IamRemarkable workshop – 30th September – Multiple sessions

On Day 2, you will have the chance to attend the established global training #IAmRemarkable, which aims to empower individuals to embrace their own achievements and get their voices heard especially at the workplace.

During the workshop, you will learn the importance of self-promotion and be equipped with tools to develop your skills. Each group will have a small number of participants to engage comfortably.
