The Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (IFI) at AUB, in collaboration with She is Arab have the pleasure of inviting you to a webinar entitled "A New Approach to Supporting Civil Society" on May 19th, 2020. This event aims to shed light on how civil society is adapting in the short-term and will need to make long overdue changes to survive and become more sustainable.
Through their roles in research, advocacy and funding, the panelists will discuss:
1) The existential threat of COVID-19 on civil society in MENA
2) Their call for change in the way the sector operates and how it is supported by donors
3) The way forward and what individuals, companies and philanthropists can do to support the most vulnerable people in the region
