DBWC unleashes members’ potential during workshop with Hult International Business School

Dr Samineh Shaheem hosts session on ‘Purpose, Potential, Productivity.’

Dubai, UAE, 30 May 2016 – In collaboration with Hult International Business School (HIBS), the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) hosted a workshop titled ‘Purpose, Potential, Productivity’, alongside Dr Samineh Shaheem, Learning & Development People Specialist from the HIBS.

“In our endless pursuit to discover ways of unleashing our potential, we often times look externally while the biggest obstacles to success may lie within us,” said HE Dr. Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg, President of DBWC.

During the session, Dr Shaheem explored how to confront fixed mindsets, dysfunctional past programming, potential thieves, and negative thinking patterns so that perspective can be broadened and enabled to design a more realistic and balanced approach to discovering purpose, increasing productivity and improving well-being.

Learning and development has been the main focus of Dr Shaheem’s career, in a deep and deliberate manner, through the application of psychological and adult educational principles and practices.
