Network Majlis season closes with topic on Digital Strategy

RUA Digital hosts last session before summer on ‘Elements Required to Structure Your Digital Strategy’

 

 

Dubai, UAE, 11 June 2015 - The Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) hosted its season closing Network Majlis on ‘Elements Required to Structure Your Digital Strategy’ alongsideNaomhMcElhattonis, RUA Digital’s Managing Director.

 

“The digital world has truly evolved the way businesses reach their consumers and it has proven to be a rapidly changing environment,” said HE Dr. Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg, President of DBWC. “Most companies utilize digital platforms to promote themselves and our members find it crucial to receive ongoing training and education on digital marketing strategies as this assists them in their daily tasks and even more importantly, as entrepreneurs and business managers, provide the knowledge on how to successfully create and implement a successful digital strategy.”

 

The interactive workshop by RUA Digital worked through all the elements on how to structure a digital strategy for a business. Naomh provided guidance on how to look at principle based frameworks for the application of digital marketing to achieve business goals.

 

The DBWC members who attended the session ran practical exercises to analyzetheir current online capabilities and identify their online strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. They also gained insight to the social channels, allowing them to make informed decisions as to which platforms are most suitable for their business needs.

 

Adding to the session, Naomh said: “It is amazing to see women taking it in their stride to learn and adapt to the latest digital trends and we are delighted to share our skills and expertise with the DBWC members. It is important for every business to have a digital strategy and to understand how to structure all the elements to run a successful campaign.”

 

Naomh, one of Northern Ireland’s Top 40 under 40 in 2011 and 2014, is a digital marketing mentor for a number of local government bodies and Enterprise development authorities around the globe.

She is an experienced Associate Lecturer at the University of Ulster, Digital Marketing Institute and a STEM Ambassador with the StemnetNetwork. Naomhalso founded the DANI Awards, Dubai Hour & Digital Exchange. Her key strengths include online audits, digital strategy, content marketing, devising social media policies, commercialisationstrategies, customer attraction and retention, campaign reporting and analytics.

 

The DBWC hosts monthly events which provide its members with practical and analytical skills which benefit them on a daily basis in their personal and work life. Today’s event was the closing session for the season before the summer break. Network Majlis sessions will resume again in September with a new line up of experts.
