Strengthening Compliance: Insights from the UAE Tax System for Business Leaders with the Federal Tax Authority

The “Tax Talks Workshop: Understanding the Basics of UAE Taxation” was delivered in collaboration with the Federal Tax Authority, following strong demand from DBWC members who had requested an encore session after the success of the initial workshop. The session came at a particularly important time, as taxation in Dubai and the wider UAE has become increasingly relevant for businesses following recent regulatory developments. It provided members with timely insights into key tax concepts, including VAT, Excise Tax, and Corporate Tax, helping to strengthen their understanding of the evolving fiscal landscape.
