DBWC & Canon Conclude Season 2 of Women Who Empower

The Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC), in collaboration with Canon Middle East, successfully concluded Season 2 of the ‘Women Who Empower’ program, designed to support and uplift women in the imaging , content creation and print industries. The program featured three specialized modules: Photography led by Canon Ambassador Jorge Ferrari, Content Creation led by professional creator Jhon Ruzz Merca (Jruzz), and Printing led by Ayman Aly, Marketing Director at Canon Middle East. Participants, who were members of the DBWC,  attended theory and practical sessions, received mentorship, and developed portfolios over a period of 6 months . The season culminated in a closing ceremony where all participants displayed their work in a gallery, and winners were recognized for their achievements: Wadad Tabarra (Photography), Camila Cascio (Content Creation), and Elizabeth Thomas and Rasha Msallam (Printing). The initiative provided participants with hands-on training, workshops , resources, and exposure, reinforcing DBWC and Canon’s commitment to offering valuable learning opportunities for their members.
