DBWC Hosts Tax Talks – Basics of Value Added Tax in Collaboration with Federal Tax Authority (FTA)

In alignment with the UAE’s strategic vision to empower women and acknowledge their pivotal role in society and the economy, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), in collaboration with DBWC, hosted a focused workshop titled “Tax Talks – Basics of VAT” on 30 July 2025.
This session was specially curated to offer valuable insights into the fundamentals of Value Added Tax (VAT) in the UAE. The goal was to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to ensure VAT compliance, understand regulatory requirements, and apply best practices in their business operations.
The session was practical and engaging, with real-life examples and an interactive Q&A segment that encouraged participants to ask questions and share their experiences.
As part of the FTA’s broader “Tax Talks” initiative, this workshop reflects their ongoing commitment to raising awareness, building capacity, and fostering a culture of tax compliance across the UAE.
