April 2025

Isabelle Millasseau is a shining example of the entrepreneurial talent nurtured by the Ro’ya Programme, a collaborative initiative between the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) and Mastercard designed to empower and support female entrepreneurs. She was one of the standout participants in the 2014 edition, securing second place at the Ro’ya Award Ceremony on November 18, 2014, winning $30,000 in cash for her innovative venture, Foot Up. Her entrepreneurial journey continued to gain momentum as she later appeared on the French versions of Shark Tank and Dragons’ Den, taking her business to an international stage.

The DBWC remains at the forefront of fostering women’s empowerment in business through a variety of impactful initiatives. From mentorship and leadership programs to networking events and educational workshops, DBWC provides women with the tools, resources, and community needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business landscape. Ro’ya, meaning "vision" in Arabic, is just one of the many ways DBWC champions female entrepreneurs, helping them turn their ideas into successful businesses. Isabelle’s success is a testament to the programme’s ability to inspire and equip women with the confidence and opportunities to excel in the global market.
