Managing Resistance to Change

The Council held an event entitled "Managing Resistance to Change." This workshop highlighted the importance of understanding and managing resistance as a natural response to change. It was emphasized that resistance is a significant obstacle to successful change, as seen in Prosci's Best Practices in Change Management studies. However, when handled effectively, resistance can be a constructive force. Members who attended the workshop gained the ability to identify and anticipate resistance types, pinpoint root causes, prepare mitigation plans, and utilize effective tactics for enduring resistance. This event equipped participants with essential skills to drive successful change within their organizations.
