Our BDM partakes in a discussion on ‘Women in Construction’ organized by Hub Brussels

On February 2, the Hub Brussels organized a forum on 'Sustainable Urban Development' in partnership with Dubai Business Women Council, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Emirates Green Building Council and Women’s Network. HE Pascal Smet, Brussels State Secretary of Urban Development and Foreign Trade participated as one of the speakers of the forum which was attended by prominent businessmen and women from Dubai and Brussels.

The forum focused on exchanging visions and best practices between Dubai & Brussels which also tackled the case studies in green building practices in both cities.

One of the highlights of the event is the ‘Women in Construction’ panel which was moderated by Samuel Servaes, Economic & Commercial Counsellor representing the Brussels Government. The panel was participated by our Business Development Manager, Nadine Halabi along with Farah Yassine, Chair of the Women’s Network Emirates Green Building Council, Catheline Van Sull, Technical Manager of Besix/Sixco Dubai and Claudia De Cesco, Ceo Socrata Construction group, Belgium. The panellists showcased and exchanged views on the projects and work on female empowerment in the UAE.
