The DIFC Courts SCT Judge and Registrar, Nassir Al Nasser delivered the second Informative session for DBWC members focusing on the DIFC Courts’ Small Claims Tribunal (SCT).

The DIFC Courts offer a service for smaller disputes (up to AED 500,000) in the form of the Small Claims Tribunal (SCT). By removing the need for lawyers, businesses and individuals can benefit from its proven capacity to resolve disputes amicably and fast in English, with an average of six weeks for cases to be resolved. Through the award-winning smart SCT, large firms, SMEs and individuals with claims can access a virtual courtroom online from anywhere in the world.

The session provided an overview of the Small Claims Tribunal (SCT), awareness of the terms of use and awareness of advantages of use. The final session will focus on The DIFC Wills Service Centre on the 23^rd of March 2020.
