On March 27, 2018, the Dubai Business Women Council hosted METIS the Emirati Management Consultancy in an exclusive VAT Session to DBWC members. The speaker was the Internationally seasoned executive and corporate advisor of METIS, Grant T. Huxham. He provided the participants the understanding how VAT works and in what manner it is different to General Sales Tax. He also explained how fraud generally works within a VAT environment and what one should do as a business owner to protect themselves as well as the business.
