HE Dr. Raja Al Gurg as Forbes 90th Most Powerful Woman in the World

Raja Easa Al Gurg, Managing Director of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group in the U.A.E., is the 90th  most powerful women in the world. In her current position since 1990, Al Gurg has been responsible for the operations of all the 27 of the group’s companies. She is also the head of the Dubai Business Women’s Council.

In our list of the Most Powerful Arab Businesswomen 2017, Lubna S. Olayan secured the top spot, with Raja Easa Al Gurg in third position. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi took first place on our list of the Most Powerful Arab Women in Government 2017.

According to Forbes, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is the Most Powerful Woman in the World this year for the seventh consecutive year and 12 times in total. She’s followed by U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May at number two and Melinda Gates at number three. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and GM CEO Mary Barra round out the top five. (source: Forbes Middle East
