Shalini has always been interested in art - she was then attracted to architecture. According to her, Landscape Architecture allowed her to enjoy what she was doing and satisfied her creative pulses too. She started off as an integral member at one of India’s key real estate developers and hasn’t looked back since. The exposure allowed her to actively participate in advanced project management and helped her develop an eye for detail and strive for perfection. Utilizing her knowledge and experience, she began her own venture – Fiona Environs. 

Today, Shalini Bhatnagar is the CEO of Fiona Environs - an integrated landscape and interior design company, involved in the planning, designing and construction of quality developments in various sectors. With a wealth of experience accumulated over almost two decades, Shalini remains actively involved in enabling the company to successfully deliver landscape projects to the highest standards. The foundation of her success relies on the ability to interpret her clients’ briefs, translate their plans into inspiring designs and manage those concepts from the drawing board to reality.

Her goal is to create imaginative and stimulating landscapes that captivate and entertain. A disciple of uniqueness and exclusivity, Shalini treats each and every project undertaken by Fiona Environs as an opportunity to showcase her best.  Shalini has worked on numerous projects and has been recognized for her expertise by key publications, across the globe.  

Putting work aside, Shalini has also been practicing yoga for over 10 years and is a well-known social butterfly - with her clients soon becoming best friends. As a member of DBWC (Dubai Business Women Council), Shalini credits the council for providing her with a platform to forge new connections and explore the various opportunities.
