Mrs. Raja Easa Al-Gurg, President of the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC), the subsidiary of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met yesterday a delegation of British businesswomen. The delegation was headed by Mrs. Lubna Qassim, Director of UAE Relations in the British Business Group – Dubai & Northern Emirates. It reviewed the achievements of the Emirati women in the political and economical fields that stem from the interest and the support of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and their brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates. The progress of women was the result of granting them all rights to make them capable of playing a responsible role in society, it was emphasised.
